It does not require dedicated servers or complex databases to be installed. It stores all metadata and structures in open and transparent JSON files directly on your computer or local network.

By calculating the digital fingerprint (hash) of each file, BaseArchive prevents document duplication at the source. If a file already exists, the system recognizes it, saving space and eliminating errors.

Today Explorer works in local standalone mode (BaseArchive). Its modular architecture will allow you in the future to connect to on-premise server or cloud archives while keeping the same exact interface and working method.
